7 Steps to Healthy and Glowing Skin!

Glowing and healthy skin is the dream of every girl. On social media, each influencer, blogger, and celebrity is promoting and showing their skin as a “Perfect Skin”. However, it is not possible to have fairer and spotless skin having no pores and blemishes. Each skin has its own way to flourish. Our basic aim should be to have healthy skin which ultimately leads us to glow skin as well. We are here to follow and learn steps to achieve our actual skin. There are seven steps to follow from today:

  • Eat healthily and keep hydrated.

Before dreaming to have your outer- self beautiful, it’s very important to focus on your inner self. Watch what you eat, think before it, and then decide on your diet. Diet has Omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Zinc, Phyto-estrogens, and selenium. By adding these nutrients in your diet will help you to gain healthy skin and fight off all the natural problems. One should add vegetables and fruits to one’s routine diet. There are some foods providing the mentioned nutrients for the betterment of the skin. 

  • Seafood
  • Sunflower seed
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Eggs
  • Walnuts
  • Tomatoes
  • Chocolate
  • Broccoli & cucumber (green vegetables)
  • Fruits (Oranges, papaya, grapes, avocadoes, watermelon)

Another part is to hydrate your skin properly. One should at least drink 8 glasses of water daily. If you want to have healthier skin, obviously you have to increase your liquid (fresh juices as well) intake more than normal. It will help to tighten skin, maintain the pH level in the body, reduce wrinkles, and prevent acne. One can have a warm cup of water with honey for the best results. Morning time is the best to consume as much water.

  • Add serums to your routine

Serums are considered a powerhouse in the beauty world. There are some always-needed nutrients and vitamins for the skin, which can’t be met by food only. For it, one should add serums to their routine according to their skin type. Hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E, essential oils, Alpha Hydroxyl acids, and many more. There are many available serums in the market fulfilling all the needs in one bottle. But if someone wants to achieve and make it at home, there are some ingredients:

  • Glycerin
  • Alovera
  • Jojoba, lavender, and avocado oil
  • Rosewater
  • Vitamin e capsule
  • Use Sunblock

If you are a student or a working lady or you have to go out in any case, sunscreen should be your travel partner. It is as essential as anything else. Sunscreen protects the skin from Ultraviolet radiation which is harmful to your skin. Almost all beauty brands have introduced their sunscreens. You can buy your favorite one from your favorite brand. Before buying it you should check the SPF (sun protection formula). It should be a minimum of 60, according to Pakistan’s atmosphere. It will eventually lessen sunburn, and prevent skin aging, skin cancer, discoloration, and blemishes. 

  • Exfoliate your skin

Exfoliation is also a very integral step towards healthy and glowing skin. It will help to remove dead skin, acne, uneven tone, and dullness. It is suggested to exfoliate your skin at least once a week. You should make it part of your skincare routine. Choose it wisely from a good brand especially if you have sensitive skin.

  • Take supplements

If you feel like it or your dermatologist suggests you, you can also take supplements for your skin. They will help to prevent aging, wrinkles, and hydrate skin, and pigmentation. Vitamin A, vitamin C, Collagen, Biotin, and Probiotics are suggested to take. But one should consult a dermatologist to take the right supplement for your skin type.

  • Use good moisturizer

Adding a good moisturizer is your half-skin care routine. A good moisturizer will help to solve most skin problems. It will help your skin to remain hydrated, look younger, fight skin damage, and prevent aging, wrinkles, and blemishes as well. A good moisturizer can do wonders to your skin. That’s why to choose wisely before opting it. It is suggested to apply at least once a day. Rubbing is not allowed, you can only pat it on your skin for good results.

  • Follow night care routine

Night care routine must be your best friend in your life, whom you talk to once a day at least. It does not start with only applying good sunscreen and keeping yourself hydrated. It ends with night care steps. Specifically, night time is mentioned because our bodies go through a lot of changes during the night. The repair and renewal of skin cells are one of it. For that one should be very conscious of how they are going to treat their skin in sleep as well. You must wash your face, apply a good moisturizer, add serum, and essential oils and sleep on a clean pillowcase.
