There are many different kinds, some of which are smaller than others. The colonies of Apis flora (the little bee) are smaller than those of Apis dorsata (the big bee) (giant bee). Because they don’t have as much to do to protect themselves, they are more likely to be eaten.
Honey from Apis flora, or “little bees,” has been used most often in traditional medicine. Because of this, it has become popular and is thought to be of high quality. Scientists have shown that it is good for your health because it has more of the enzyme glucose oxidase, which is what makes it antibacterial.
There are two main reasons why this is. First, it’s likely that most honey sold in stores has been heated a lot (maybe up to 165°F or 73.89°C). It turns the crystal into a liquid, gets rid of any impurities, and kills any harmful germs. Yes, it does change honey. It makes the taste less strong and the color lighter. In the case of tree honey, the merchant may boil the honey to separate it from the beeswax. Most likely, the honeycomb is heated to 145 degrees Fahrenheit or 62.78 degrees Celsius so that the wax melts and rises to the top, making it easy to separate.
