During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Saudi government affirmed age restrictions which imposed an age limit of 65 years to perform Hajj. This meant that the waiting list of 20 years has extended to 40 years and that of 30 years has been extended to 60 years.
This leads to the uplift of Hajj 2023 restrictions and relieves as many pilgrims as possible.
To implement the conditions regarding the offering of Hajj in 1443 H/2023 the Indonesian Hajj Affairs and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of KSA held a meeting together. In the meeting, they discuss a plan for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage in 2023.
