Our lives are made easier by these 4 technologies

There have been several changes in lives and in working industries brought about by wireless connectivity. If it weren’t for wireless connections, the Internet and smartphones we use today wouldn’t have generated the amount of fuss they did. A network cable-like extension cord was commonly used to “surf” the Internet before 1997. However, wireless connectivity (or Wi-Fi) changed this practice, allowing Internet surfing to be done without cables.

Originally a router and dongle for laptops, the 1997 wireless connection invention evolved over time. After its introduction into cars, computers, and mobile devices, it became much faster at transferring information. In both the personal and professional spheres, wireless connections are essential because they are almost a part of every individual’s daily routine.

Assistants with voice commands

Smart devices of the 21st century are often powered by voice assistants. People have made their lives easier by using voice assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google’s Assistant. Furthermore, they can have a “personal assistant” whose primary function is to manage their gadgets. Globally, over 3.25 billion voice assistants are used on several devices, according to a 2019 study.

Moreover, a study revealed that voice assistants would have doubled in number by 2023. Depending on the device, these voice assistants can play music, read news, and stream services.

Recognition of faces

The field of facial recognition is one of the fastest-growing in technology and plays a crucial role in our daily lives. In biometric authentication, facial recognition uses the features of the face to verify identity. Digital albums can be sorted or unlocked with this technology in many devices. Facial recognition is most commonly used to open smartphones like Apple’s iPhone.

As a result, facial recognition tools are primarily useful for identifying suspected criminals thanks to their link to databases containing millions of licences and mugshots. Using your face to curate recommendations was another area of ease that it created. The technology recognises your face and charges your credit card without the need for cash or cards. Missing people, especially children, can be found using facial recognition, which is one of the most important uses of the technology. Today’s technology allows us to predict how our children will look in a few years’ time. According to a study, the facial recognition industry will generate $7 billion by 2024.

There is no doubt that this technology is one of the most popular at present, racking up headlines almost every day. Digital money typically does not have a specific owner. The use of cryptocurrency for daily transactions for goods can be considered a new way of doing business. With cryptocurrency, transactions are becoming safer and more popular than with traditional currencies.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is one of the most significant cryptocurrency coins making the most noise right now. Business transactions use this coin the most. For the first time in 2017, it crossed the $1,000 threshold, and by the end of 2017, it surpassed $19,000. In the 21st-century, this decentralised currency technology will remain a beacon of easy and safe transactions.
