As internet marketing it is very common to use social media or social networks like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Digg etc. to promote yourself. Your product/service, your company and/or your work
But so do communication and marketing strategies. There are some important do’s and don’ts. I will use Facebook as an example of social media marketing. For the purpose of this review
The main difference between using buy facebook comments and other marketing platforms is that, of course, social media comes first. (not a business tool) Facebook was originally designed to allow people to interact with others socially. companies and companies, so I decided to buy their parts. The fact that Facebook is a social networking platform means that your marketing communications should be more social/friendly and recognizable.
Here are 5 tips to make your Facebook marketing effective. Based on my observations of how the most successful internet marketers use Facebook. Including using it as my own marketing tool:
Tip 1: Make your Facebook profile interesting, friendly and informative.
Your profile should tell people what kind of person you are. (Often, your Facebook friends are people you’ve never met in person.) Don’t be too formal. Do you like business or not? (That’s my downfall sometimes!) or very random. What could be considered an unprofessional trick is to visualize something balanced and intermediate. After all, you are a business and you need to be competent and professional, but Facebook is social media and you need to show your human side too. Do this by mentioning something in your profile that makes you who you are and is not related to your business. It also gives readers facts about what you do as a business and how you can help them.
Tip 2: Be realistic about your status/post updates. You don’t have to be on Facebook alone to promote and sell. Visit for what is social media marketing.
Be real – sometimes just post status updates/comments that make people see you as an ordinary person like them. Don’t give opinions that are trivial or too personal. (Avoid talking about your toenail or hair problems!)
A common way to add value in this way is to post quotes from famous people that align with your values. Hopefully this will stop your friends from wondering. Or inspire them
For example: “Pay more attention to your personality than your reputation. Because who you are is who you are. Although your reputation is what others think you are.” John Wooden, Basketball Coach” (Posted by Lavinia D. Osborne on Facebook, May 30, 2010).
But keep in mind that quotes are getting so popular now that their value is declining. Perhaps you can create your own message based on your observations and thoughts about the nature of life, business and humanity?
Tip 3: Help your friends/fanpage/group members
Don’t use aggressive promotions on your status updates/posts – people don’t want to sell to them! It depends on your business. The products/services you promote and your personality You need to build your personal brand by providing help and advice to others. (your target market) in a way that is relevant to them. It depends on your needs, wants, desires, dreams and general problems.
This kind of approach often gets them to click through to your main site and buy from you. Because over time they will like and trust you.
Tip 4: Interaction Create and use Facebook groups (with their names, topics, and related goals) to connect with others. And be sure to send group messages. Invitations to events/webinars or at least one daily free/rewards offer with your group.
Remember that while you can invite friends to your Facebook group, they choose whether or not to join the group. And they are more likely to join dynamic groups with a lot of interaction and useful information. (This is not easily created by their spammy sales pitches)
Allow group members to post updates/comments on your group wall in addition to your post. so that they can freely communicate with other group members (but sometimes it is wise to limit self-promotion to only group members.)
Tip 5: Use Facebook often, get to know your friends/fans/group members.
If Facebook is one of your internet marketing strategy choices, use it every day – it’s visible, it’s interactive, it’s there!
