8 Really Effective Ways to Control Pump and Fan Noise!

If you’re looking for something more permanent (and probably less effective), there are also gaskets that can be placed around the motor. Insulation works best if it is used for both vibration control and heat dissipation. However, you don’t have to have both—if one will do the trick and save you space, go for it!

For example: if your pump needs more cooling than isolation from vibrations produced by other devices in your room (like an air conditioner), then just put down some extra insulation around its base so that air won’t escape through cracks between objects like tables/chairs/desks etc.

2. Encapsulate the fan or pump with an acoustic enclosure
