The Fascinating History of the True Crime Genre

If you’re constantly scared of taking the leap into learning a new craft or trade, it may be time to talk to someone who’s been around the block. Their advice could help you overcome your fears and embark on an exciting new career path.

For example, there’s never been a better time than now to learn how to repair cell phones! The demand for mobile phone repair has tripled in recent years. Soon enough, this will be a skill every home should have.

Even the most basic cell phone repairs can garner some great income. While you might be worried about starting a new career, that fear can be dispelled with a little bit of research.

Before taking the leap into learning how to repair cell phones, you need to make sure this is something you’re truly passionate about. Reading our blog will help anybody interested in taking up this hobby, as it contains helpful tips from people who are already doing this sort of thing (you can even find the best places to sell phones online!).

Here are five reasons why you should start phone repair:
Cell phone repairs can definitely pay!
The electronics repair industry is on the rise. The demand for cell phones has been steadily increasing and this trend is likely to continue for years to come. In fact, there’s a chance you may not have to buy a new cell phone for quite some time – but only if you can repair them! With sky-high prices for new phones, consumers are looking for cheaper alternatives.

As the demand for cell phones continues to grow, there will be more and more opportunities for novice repair technicians to make money. This means that there are bound to be more jobs available than ever before.

The phone repair industry is growing!

Although many people are starting repairs, there are a few industries that have been doing this for years! For instance, according to Forbes Magazine, the smartphone repair industry has grown by 40% year over year since 2013.

On top of this, it is predicted that the smartphone repair industry will continue to grow by 2.5% per year for the following five years. This will mean more jobs for newcomers to the field and more money in people’s pockets!

The unemployment rate has dropped!
Speaking of which, consumer confidence levels have been rising in recent months. Unemployment rates have fallen steadily as people are seeking out new opportunities.

This means that there are even more jobs available for you! If you’re unable to find work in another sector, then you might want to get into cell phone repairs. There’s never been a better time than now.

You could start your own business!
This is the major reason why people flock to this industry every single day! Nowadays, it’s extremely easy to get into a new industry if your heart is set on it. In fact, some of the most successful people on the planet have made their fortunes through entrepreneurship.

It can be easy to assume that all you need is a cell phone and a desire to start a business. Thankfully, this is not always the case! You can buy your own tools, rent an office space, and get help from family and friends if need be.

You’ll likely need to work hard though! What’s more, people do tend to underestimate how much work goes into starting your own business.

There are so many online resources!
One of the best things about getting into cell phone repairs is that you have an almost unlimited amount of online information at your fingertips. The internet contains a wealth of information about this business and learning as much as you can will help you succeed in it.

Whether you’re looking for guides, tutorials, and reviews to help you get started, there are plenty of websites out there that can help. These should be your first port of call if you’re new to the business and don’t know where to begin.

What Your Customers Really Think About Your PHONE REPAIR?
Tech repair is a tricky business. Customers are often unsure of what they want and are still learning about their devices, so it takes time for them to trust you with their precious phone or laptop.

But at the end of the day, your customers want you to solve their problems quickly and affordably.

I was reminded of this recently when I had a customer bring in his broken iPhone to me for some repairs. He didn’t have any AppleCare, so I quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty battery.

In most cases, head-to-head with Apple’s own Genius Bar repair specialists, replacing the battery is roughly . The phone is good as new and the customer is happy. But should you keep the phone instead of selling it off to the iPhone recycle program?

My customer was torn. He liked his iPhone 5S and didn’t have a ton of money for a replacement. Having been an Apple fan for years, he’d wanted to keep it as opposed to selling it off and buying a newer model — but now faced paying for repairs.

He was also worried about what he might face as far as service is concerned. He’d read online horror stories about Apple employees who are ruthless and unapologetic celebs who keep customers in the dark — with no one to blame but themselves. Should I just sell it? My guess is he’s right in not wanting to pay for repairs when he can get a 5S for under $400; but it does come down to the emotional cost. It’s easy to see how many people would consider this an acceptable trade-off.
