AllamaFazle was a famous poet of Urdu, Arabic and Persian, a revolutionary and logician of the first freedom struggle of 1857. He was born in 1797 in Khairabad city of Sitapur district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He received education from religious rituals. AllamaFazleHaque inherited the educational atmosphere.After completing his education, he started teaching in Khairabad and then in 1816, at the age of nineteen, he got a job in the British Government. He left the job in 1831. After this, the Nawabs of Jhajjar came to Khairabad after giving their services to the princely states of Rampur and Alwar.
The first freedom struggle of 1857 had started, in the period of 1857, when the oppression of the East India Company reached its limit, then the Indian kings, emperors and nobles, and Navabos,Maulvis tried to get the British out of the country and planned a tremendous rebellion Which was led by Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar, the great hero of the revolution. AllamaFazleHaqKhairabadi played an important role.

Fatwa against the British
Seeing the dead bodies of Indians hanging on the tree, AllamaFazleHaq issued a fatwa against the British. Describing the stay of the British as haram in Fatwa, they were asked to be expelled from the country. British started searching him only after Maulana issued a fatwa. After the failure of the revolution of 1857, Maulanacame to KhairabadTasharif from Delhi. The British got a clue in Khairabad and on 30 January 1858 he was arrested from Khairabad.
Kalapani (Cellular Jail)
He was found guilty of playing a role in jihad and encouraging murder. He decided to be his own lawyer and defended himself. His arguments and the manner in which he defended his case were so effective and convincing that the presiding magistrate was writing a judgment declaring him innocent, when he confessed to having issued the fatwa and said that he could not lie. He was sentenced to life imprisonment at Cellular Jail (Kalapani) in the Andaman Islands and his property was confiscated by the judicial commissioner of the Awadh court. Where FazleHaqKhairabadi died on 20 August 1861 due to the torture given by the British.
Books by Allama
Allama wrote several books during his sentence at Kalepani in Andaman’s Cellular Jail. Out of which “AseeratulHindiya” which he wrote on paper with coal. Mufti InayatUllah, who was released from jail, brought it with him and handed it over to his son. Which was later translated into Hindi as well.Even the tortures of Kalepani could not break the spirits of FazleHaq.
