Dr. Graham welcomes you to his plastic surgery practice in Calgary, Alberta
The Dr. Graham was born in Saskatchewan. He obtained an honours diploma on Neuroscience within the University of Alberta and subsequently pursued master’s studies within Experimental Medicine with a grant from the Canadian Liver Foundation.
He later attended medical school at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine. His post-graduate training continued at the University of Calgary, with the post-doctoral residency for Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.
His fellowship training was in Hand and Microsurgery within the Christine M. Kleinert Institute as well as the University of Louisville Hospitals in Louisville, Kentucky.
Following that, he worked as plastic surgeon in Louisville, Kentucky, before finally returning to Alberta.
Dr. Graham is board certified in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is board eligible through the American Board of Plastic Surgeons in the United States.
Dr. Graham has been involved in some extremely unique cases. His surgical group was among the ones in Louisville who carried out an double hand transplant on the world’s longest-lived recipient who had lost both her hands because of complications from an infection.
Dr. Graham and his partner in Louisville also carried out one of the only twin to twin breast reconstruction surgeries worldwide, making use of the abdominal tissue of one of the sisters to rebuild her identical sister’s breasts that had been destroyed by cancer.
Dr. Graham maintains an active and healthy lifestyle outside of his hectic work schedule. He enjoys spending time with friends and family. He is trained as a Royal Conservatory trained classical guitarist and has played in numerous public performances with his siblings over the time. He has a strong passion for travel and has visited more than fifty countries and six continents. He also enjoys skiing, golf and scuba diving.
