SERVICES FOR CLIPPING PATHS

by Nathan Zachary

Clipping path is a technique that is used a lot when editing photos for e-commerce. This is now the most common way to edit photos, whether you’re a product photographer who wants to take pictures with a white background or a fashion photographer who wants to make the skin and face look bright.

At Clipping Path Fair, we know how important it is to have a precise clipping path, so we outline an image by hand-drawing the clipping path so that we can get edges with detail. This process lets you completely separate the picture from its background, leaving only a sharp, clear edge. We use the Photoshop Pen Tool to draw each clipping path so we have full control and can give each image a clean, finished edge.

We always give you professional, high-quality clipping path service to help you meet your tight deadlines and budgets.

WHAT IS A CLIPPING PATH?

Clipping path, also called “Deep-etching,” is a way to make a shape around an image or object by using the pen tool in Photoshop. With this selection, the image can be separated from its background. Once the clipping path is used, everything inside the path will be part of the final output, while everything outside the path will be cut out.

LEVELS OF CLIPPING PATH COMPLEXITY:

Our skilled designers use the Clipping Path technique on images of all shapes, sizes, and levels of difficulty. We don’t skimp on quality, and we use the most up-to-date tools to manually select parts of your images. This process is sometimes easy and quick, and sometimes hard and takes a long time. We can divide this service into the following types based on the shape of the product and how long it takes to finish.

  1. BASIC CLIPPING PATH: This category is easy and only needs 6 anchor points and one clipping path. It includes things with simple shapes and no holes, like a pen, an egg, a cell phone, a cricket ball, a watch, a book, a calculator, and more.
  2. SIMPLE CLIPPING PATH: If the subject is simple but the shape is complicated. Images that have only a few curves are simple. The pictures in the simple category have more edges and curves than the pictures in the basic category. Like bracelets, shirts, rings, and other simple jewellery, cars, and single pieces of furniture.
  3. MEDIUM CLIPPING PATH: Images that have more than one object fall into this group. This group’s images have complicated edges, and taking out the background takes more time than in basic and simple groups. This group is made up of things with zigzag edges or holes. A group of people, toys with different shapes, furniture, or a group of furniture are all examples.
  1. COMPLEX CLIPPING PATH: An object with very complicated edges, multiple holes, and different levels of transparency needs a complex clipping path. When compared to the basic, simple, and medium groups, drawing a clipping path on these kinds of images takes a long time and costs money. In these situations, the subject may have a lot of holes, furs, pictures of models, or any product with a net necklace, chain Christmas tree, or any other kind of chain.
  2. VERY DIFFICULT CLIPPING PATH: When an image has subjects with soft edges, closed outlines, a lot of transparency, and multiple complex shapes, it falls into the super complex clipping path service. The cost of editing an image is a lot more than the cost of other clipping path services. This group includes very complicated jewellery, groups of furry things, furniture with many cut-outs, and bicycles.
  1. MULTI-CLIPPING PATH: Multiple clipping paths are complicated clipping paths that are made by adding more clipping paths to the product itself. This kind of clipping path is used to make a mask or pick out different parts of a product so that colour corrections can be made or different colours can be made.

MULTIPLE-CLIP PATH FOR COLOR CHANGE:

Masking or choosing the colour and adjusting it as needed is a very important part of making a picture or image that is truly free of mistakes. When photos are taken, the camera’s flash doesn’t always spread light evenly across the picture. This can lead to some glaring differences that make some parts of the picture look dull or make them stand out from other parts and look unnatural. Also, cameras aren’t always able to capture the true vibrancy of some colours. These colours can be made more vivid by using multiple clipping paths. Using multi-clipping paths, you can easily change the colour or brightness of different parts of an image or product to match the colour or brightness of other parts of the image or product.

MULTIPLE CLIPS FOR COLOR VARIANT:

This method is a lot like using the multi-clipping path to change or fix colours, as described above. The main difference is that for each colour on the product or image, a separate clipping path will be made. This is very helpful if you want to show that your product line comes in a variety of colours but only have one colour to photograph. You can do this by making a separate clipping path for each colour in the product or image. This lets you select each colour and path and change them to the colour you want using different Photoshop tools. This can make it easy for online stores to show customers the different colours of a product. Customers can just move their mouse over a colour choice on the website to see the different colours available for your product lines. All of this can be done with just one photo shoot of a product, which is a big plus.

WHEN CLIPPING PATH SERVICES ARE NECESSARY?

  • It lets you change the background of the picture you’re working on.
  • It helps you make white backgrounds for selling photos online or in person, as well as transparent backgrounds for design.
  • It can also help you show your product pictures in different contexts, letting you add different backgrounds to set the scene for your picture.
  • It lets you change how bright and different the object is from the background.
  • To separate different colours and make colour corrections, you need to use multiple clipping paths.
  • Clipping Paths are needed to make products with different colours out of a single shot.
  • It lets you hide an image’s background without getting rid of the real background.
  • This is helpful when using Adobe Illustrator or InDesign to make catalogues.
  • You can also use a clipping path to select and edit a certain part of an image and change its shape.
  • When you need to change an image or part of it in Photoshop, clipping paths are also helpful.

WHEN YOU SHOULDN’T USE CLIPPING PATH:

Instead of the clipping path technique, you should use advanced image masking if the subject of your image has fuzzy or fuzzy edges or is transparent.

CLIPPING PATH SERVICES AT CLIPPING PATH FAIR:

There are many ways to cut out parts of an image, but a hand-drawn clipping path is the best way to get edges that are high quality, precise, and detailed. We use Photoshop’s pen tool to make a very precise path around the image for our customers. Depending on the image’s resolution, our designers zoom the image by 200% to 300% to make sure the edge is clipped correctly. This also helps experts make sure the right number and distance of anchor points, which is most important to keep the shape of that object/product. If you add too many anchor points to an image, it will have the wrong shape.

There is no other way to draw an accurate clipping path than with the pen tool. So, we don’t use any of the automated tools (like the Magic Wand to quickly select the path) to make the path around the object. Using automated or short cut tools like magic wand is strongly prohibited to our clipping path company.

Clipping Path Fair is one of the best clipping path company for editing photos, and the people who work there are very good at manipulating and editing photos. We don’t care how many images you need to have edited. Just send them to us, and you’ll get the results the next day.
