Kaushik Valendra

Kaushik Velendra, the London-based menswear designer, is the changemaker in the men’s
fashion industry, bringing a refreshing and inclusive vision. Kaushik Valendra’s intuitive liking
for impactful apparel is reshaping the thinking toward contemporary menswear. Velendra
continues to showcase compelling fashion statements by generating a unique paradigm of
conventional tailoring blended with a creative outlook. Dominion attiring for the individuals and
tailoring for the future is how Velendra defines his label.
Valendra’s collection style contained sculptural, body-shaping clothing created to improve stance
and compliment the male body. In addition, it gives the wearer a superhero feel. He designs in
grand neutrals like whites, wealthy blacks, gentle velvety browns, softened golds, and olives –
and swish materials carried together with sharp tailoring.
Velendra’s practice aims to instill the definition of strength and conviction while being
welcoming without any gender bias. In 2021, he arranged his atelier in east London, an area once
settled by the late Alexander McQueen; Velendra started his studio as a secure working space for
Indian students stumbling to locate an innovative space. Finally, following the brand’s
continuous triumph, Kaushik Velendra migrated the brand’s head office to Mayfair in January
2022.
Sustaining the myriad of positive feedback and press reviews, Velendra has also outfitted the
preferences of the: popular model Alton Mason for the Grammy Awards, Bollywood leading
actor Ranveer Singh for the Filmfare Awards and promotional offshoots for movies, BFC
Ambassador for Positive Change, and Hollywood popular actress Priyanka Chopra who modeled
one of his armor motivated designs.
He had launched models across 30 different countries to emphasize the versatility and fluidity of
his apparel. The short-sleeved magnified gold top with strong, spheroidal, armor-like shoulders
has become his signature design.
The AW21 assemblage shown on the program during London Fashion Week gathered excellent
industry appraisals and worldwide acclaim, including prominent titles such as The New York
Times, British Vogue, Vogue USA, Vogue India, and Vogue Italia, and WWD. The conquest
continued with the Spring Summer 2022 Menswear collection of Kaushik Valendra, exhibited at
London Fashion Week in September 2021. In addition, the group extended to contain a broader
range of ready-to-wear requirements and couture for people from all walks of life.
